The AW16 fashion week season is finally over. We are overwhelmed by the creativity of the designers. This is always a hectic time for the creatives in the fashion industry. The months of hard work by a lot of people for that few minutes of runway or a couple of hours of a presentation.

During the LFW, we witnessed some models falling with exhaustion while everyone including the spectators or the management mostly simply ignored the situation or didn’t seem much bothered. This incident highlighted the darker side of the fashion and how creatives push themselves beyond the limites some times. That coupled with the departure of some big designers from their brands makes us think that its important to really know one’s limits and know when to stop.

2016 has also seen the rebellion of some brands against the existing fashion system of presenting winter collections in summer and vice versa. While many big names like Karl Lagerfeld have disapproved of it, its certainly a start of a big change that might revolutionize the way the fashion industry works.

Another trend that seems to be on the rise is the ethical fashion represented by the vegan community. Many follow the path for the health benefits offered by it, for the environment or simply because they are against animal cruelity. While we may or may not follow the path, its good to know that more ethical brands are available if you want them. Florence Sarlet introduces some of her favourites.

Along with that we have the usual editorials submitted from around the world. We are proud to present interviews of some very interesting creatives including London based designers, Edeline Lee and Sadie Williams. We hope that you enjoy the March issue just as much as we did putting it together for you.
